Now Hiring - Inside Sales Engineer in East Greenwich, RI

We’re looking for an aggressive, results-driven Inside Sales Engineer to grow our business. This position will be responsible for assisting the regional sales managers in the field by actively seeking out and engaging customer prospects. The Inside Sales Engineer will also prospect for new business across the entire USA. The position will be based at DEWETRON US headquarters in East Greenwich, RI. Full product and market training will be provided. You should be able to promptly resolve customer inquiries and ensure maximum client satisfaction. The position may require occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

• Present, promote and sell products/services.
• Effective, rapid follow up to inbound leads from new prospects.
• Develop and qualify leads from prospecting and route qualified opportunities to regional sales managers for further development
• Research accounts, identify key contact(s) and generate leads for outside sales.
• Prospect for new business with cold calls, cold emails and interacting with prospects in social media.
• Coordinate activities with regional sales managers and other departments to achieve sales targets.
• Closely collaborate with customers to determine their needs and recommend the right solution.
• Assist regional sales managers with quotations and arranging onsite meetings as needed
• Assist marketing with sales promotions.
• Create and host webinars.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
• Generate reports on customer needs, problems, ideas for new products or services.
• Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
• Continuously improve through feedback.
• Master the DEWETRON hardware and OXYGEN software to be able to provide effect product demos.
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of competition.
• Maintain and expand your database of prospects.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Highly motivated self-starter and target driven.
• Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the customers’ needs.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
• 3-5 years in a similar position.
• Experience with customer service.
• Candidates with experience in test and measurement products, sensors or power applications a plus.
• ME or EE degree or other technical degree in an engineering or physical science discipline or equivalent.
• Previous experience with Salesforce and other CRMs a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
